Another reason I love Steven Moffat (even before his "era" begins)...

Moffat says he doesn't have an agenda for how his Doctor Who will differ from Davies's but "these things happen as a matter of instinct" and his instinct led him towards a more "storybook quality". "For me, Doctor Who literally is a fairy tale. It's not really science fiction. ( Read more... )

One of my biggest regrets of the past decade was not visiting The Star Trek Experience before it closed down at the Las Vegas Hilton. Matt and I watched a behind-the-scenes featurette on the experience last night that dug up a lot of those regrets for me. It was for an intro to political science class, my final paper for the semester, written in December 1998. This Saturday night, spacevlad and I went snow tubing with the Minneapolis Movie Bears (MMB). I haven't been snow tubing since I was probably 13 or 14 years old.
