So Anaheim ended up winning, 6-2. Ottawa certainly didn't do themselves any favors by failing to convert on a penalty shot, AND *scoring on their own net* in the second period.

Still, it's always fun to see the greatest trophy in sports.

As a kid growing up in Canada in the 1980s, I watched a fair amount of hockey. Back in thsoe days, there were 21 teams, the regular season was 80 games long, and the playoffs were usually over by mid to late May. Anyone see Colbert last night? If not, you missed a hell of a show. Colbert had a guitar duel with Chris Funk of the Decemberists. The panel of three judges included Eliot Spitzer, and there were also guest appearances by Peter Frampton, some guy from Apples in Stereo, and Morley Safer doing a very funny faux-60 minutes intro.
