I have a small cut in my left nostril that keeps trying to scab over. But I can't stop messing with it. I've picked it off and it's regrown probably twenty times in the last three days. And there's usually pain and bleeding involved. I can't stop myself. I have issues.

Making out and messing around with an acquaintance while listening to a reggae version of the album Dark Side of the Moon is definitely odd. Definitely.

So I talked to my dad tonight (since he was the one who actually took Jinx in). Apparently he has small corneal ulcers (isn't that horrible sounding?? ulcers on your friggin eye *shudder*) and a cataract in his right eye. But the vet seemed to indicate she'd seen a lot worse. So among the several other (and potentially really, really bad) things happening with my family right now, we just found out Jinx has feline herpes. That's why his eyes are always goopy and he's so drooly. He has to get eyedrops and maybe interferon injections. He should be ok though - it's not like he's at death's door or anything. My long island iced tea/lemondrop martini buzz is wearing off, so I should probably go to bed. I found out the menu for our company holiday party on the 15th today, and am looking forward to it muchly. It seems to be catered by the same people as last year, which means it will be delicious.
