Things are much better yesterday and today than this weekend. Whew, what a freaking last 2 months this has been. Todd's appendix came out on Saturday and he is doing sooooo well with his recovery. He refuses to take the pain medication (hello, pass some over to me!) and even went in for a half day today. He is a freaking champ ( Read more... )

It's 11:22 on Saturday night and I have had 1 hour worth of sleep since Thursday night. Todd is back in the hospital and had to have surgery to remove his appendix this afternoon. I totally forgot to mention some exciting news - Todd went back to work on Monday! Woohoo! He is doing so awesome but he has now moved into the "How much longer do I have to wear this stinking cervical collar?" phase. I would just like to thank the Pilgrims or whoever started the trend, but I am soooo thankful that Thanksgiving always falls on a weekday and everyone pretty much slacks at work the whole week leading up to it and basically no one expects you to come into work the day after Thanksgiving.  Yeah Turkey Day!!  My (amazing) boss was at his condo in FL ( Read more... )
