I got some more details from my TL today on the management shuffle. They are having a meeting about everything tomorrow (it must be chainwide, since someone else mentioned a meeting). Starting Thursday, the managers will all have interviews with the store director, who will decide their fate. I'm having deja vu here. This reminds me a tad too ( Read more... )

Anyone else getting a manager shuffle soon? 

I just found out our store is going to get those LARGE self-checkout lanes, the ones for entire basketsful of stuff, instead of express orders. If people can't figure out how to use the REGULAR fast lanes, how are they supposed to use the LARGE fast lanes??

I don't know if other stores are still cutting hours or not, but mine is. I'm full-time and haven't worked a 40 hour week since December. I average 36 hours a week lately, the lowest they can cut me without jeopardizing my full-time status.
