Arthur/Merlin
In which Hunith brings Merlin to Camelot as a young child. One fateful day young!Prince Arthur spies Merlin playing with a group of his friends from outside his window, and he decides that he wants him. Arthur always gets what he wants. The next day Hunith escorts an unwilling Merlin into the castle where he is named 'The Prince's Royal Playmate'. Mostly, what the job entails is getting toy soldiers lobbed at his head and being hit with wooden swords.
Mostly, what Merlin thinks is that Arthur is kind of a prat.
Eventually they learn to get along.

Arthur/Merlin, Arthur/Gwen, Gwen/Merlin (friendship), post-3x13.
Merlin and Gwen thought they were the only ones who knew about Morgana's magic and her allegiance to Morgause before she took over Camelot (other than Gaius, anyway). In the wake of Morgana's brief and horrible reign, though, they learn that that is far from the truth. As they meet with the castle's servants on Arthur's behalf (taking stock of supplies, damage to the castle, who is dead and needs replaced, etc), they find out that many of the servants knew of it, or at least part of it.
Basically, I'd love for Merlin and Gwen to learn of a castle-wide conspiracy among the servants to protect Camelot from Morgana, both before and after she and Morgause took over. [long prompt: follow link to read the rest]

Arthur/Merlin, Gwaine/Merlin (one sided), Gwaine/Other. Gwaine wants to sleep with his room mate, so he sets out to turn the extremely hetero Merlin gay for him. He doesn't realize that Arthur's already done that.
Prompt 2
Arthur/Everyone, a spell allows Arthur to hear other peoples' thoughts. Turns out he features in everyone's thoughts quite a lot. So Merlin, Gwen and Morgana (and if you're up for it Gaius!) are all having kinky thoughts about Arthur. Arthur is a combination of smug/embarrassed/freaked out by their various thoughts. Bonus if Gwen turns out to be the kinkiest of them all :D Can involve actual sex or just people thinking about sex.

Arthur/Merlin, Arthur gets turned invisible somehow, and decides to pretend to be 'missing' just to see how people react, eavesdrop on what people are saying about him etc. It's Merlin's reaction that surprises him the most.

They've had an affair during their early 20s and have fallen out after a couple of years. They find each other 10 years later, both married with children and they fall in love all over. They spend a day a week seeing each other secretively and then it becomes once a month because of duties and such... until one of them doesn't come to their meetings anymore.
Is this really the end for them?

Arthur and Merlin curled up together (preferably under a deep Pendragon red blanket/duvet/whatever) watching Excalibur (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082348/). Would love to have the boys commenting about how this Arthur would never treat his Merlin like movie!Arthur treats movie!Merlin or vice versa, or how this Arthur thought his Merlin could be cryptic (referring to how cryptic movie!Merlin can be), or how movie!Guinevere would never be good enough for this Arthur, or anything like that. Can be part of something bigger or a slice of life, est relationship or just forming, whatever works. Basically, the boys being loving and protective/defensive of each other while watching their namesakes muddle about.
