Sorry for my recent grumpiness. Hospitals are not good for me and this stay was particularly bad. I am currently hurty, swollen, awkward and overly dependent on others all of which make me cranky.
I am thankful that I have access to the health care I need and that my friends are such cool people.
At 4:00 AM the nurse started prepping the other side of my semi-private room. At 4:45 my new roomate loudly showed up with her mom (?), another nurse and the wierd Nurse's aid. I didn't go to sleep until after 1:00 so the night's over after 3ish hours. Oh yeah, and she smells...
Day 3- I am on my third IV site. Bloodwork took two sticks this morning. The catheter and epidural are out so I am down to the one IV and abdominal drain. I have blisters and sores from the various tapes and adhesives, including some from the steri-strips on my incision. I also have multiple bruises around the incision and drain. I sincerely hope I
