We may be bringing home a dog tomorrow. I'm trying to fool myself that this isn't a big decision and can be made with 24 hours consideration.
Dana has been hoping to adopt a dog pretty much ever since we got together. We've never lived anywhere that we could until now.

I'm not sure I have much to say, other than I would rather be home than at work this afternoon. No work holidays for us except Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Our landlord and her daughter are working on and around our apartment and it's nice to have a bit of noise and activity. Said daughter has decided to take her cat after all- she has reconciled ( Read more... ) -

Didn't get to Portland yesterday for vespers, sadly. Instead my truck and I hauled a moldy mattress plus other yummy goods to the county dump for my dad.

So…I’ve been crushing something terrible on Orthodoxy lately, and want to go visit a Vespers service at one of the churches in Portland. Unfortunately it’s a drive, about 75 miles one way, and so it’s not something one can do all that spontaneously!

I need to load the propane tanks in the back of my truck and go buy some because the little space heater I am using to keep warm is not doing the trick. Our trailer is COLD.

All my body wants to do today is sleep, but I can't take a nap.
