well, today was an interesting day. I got moved out of my office and into a cube. Of course, faced with a stack of bins four high, my first priority was to get my computers all online. Of course! A better mood for the moment
Hopefully my mood will be better today. I was going to talk to K this morning before work to try to get things back on a more civil plane. But she had a last minute opporutnity to go sub at a school, so she went there instead.
As I think I said yesterday, we agreed to talk Thursday morning, so that's coming up. I'm not looking forward to it. -
hanging around home
They're moving me out of an office and into a cube this morning, so I'm working from home until I hear that my stuff has been moved.
That's ok; I'm trying to get all my data and programs onto my new laptop.

Me and 6 teenaged girls
Tonight I took my daughter and five of her friends to a concert headlined by Fall Out Boy. They were the headliner, but there were four other bands.
Man, oh man, oh man. I was 3x the average age of the audience.
So, of the five bands, I liked October Fall pretty well. From First to Last was too loud and not that good. Posers!

Friends are very good for you
A shy person
For most of my life - up until two years ago - I've had very few friends. I'm naturally a kind of shy person, the kind who stood up against the wall at the 7th grade dance, and when I go into a church potluck, will sit at an empty table and hope someone interesting will sit near me. (They usually don't.)
