Hello messmates .  This comm has been getting SO many spam bots applying for membership!  I switched the membership to moderated after the first spam posting, but it's uncanny how many other bots have tried to get in.  I maintain a couple of other communities, and this is the only one being repeatedly hit by bots.

Stuff I need for tomorrow's drill:

Red jacket (one, currently hanging on bedroom door)
Crossbelts (two, buried)
Musket and case (one each)
Trousers (spare pair for very unreliable member)
Shoes (two pairs - oh, one pair's already in the car...)
Gaiters (one pair, somewhere)

Things to do before Mary gets here in... 7ish 5ish hours.

• Put away ironing board and fabric in sewing room
• Vacuum everywhere
  
• Inflate air mattress in sewing room
  
• Put sheets and blankets on it
• Wash laundry - a towel and bath mat at least!

Hi. I'm new - and messy.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, and I have cleaning to do! Why can't I just sit and read? Or watch tv??

Why do I keep procrastinating, even on fun things like sewing quilts?!?!?!?!?!?!?  I wanna be one of those awesome cool sewing-crafting blog ladies who makes purses and baby shoes and amazing organizational things and has an awesome sewing room.  Instead of sitting around making icons like this one.
