Today marks another change in my lifestyle. Hubby was promoted on Friday, and in his new position, he is back on "late shift" which is when the general population would refer to as graveyard. Yuck, I burned my microwave popcorn!! My WHOLE HOUSE is smokey now and I'm amazed the smoke detectors didn't go off. I only ran upstairs for a minute, looking for hubby's black belt because he was yelling that he couldn't find it. Now we can't get the house to air out, and I'm getting sick on the smell.

And, damn it all, that was the last bag. :(

I just spent the last hour and a half, cleaning my fish tank; rearranged it all and refilled it. Decided to move the heater, because it's sort of cornered with the new arrangement. We've had so much rain around here (about 11 inches in the last 10 days or so) that my back yard is like a small swamp. The neighbor lady has water in her garage, and came and asked my hubby if she could do something to stop the water seeping in. Don't know what she has in mind, short of trenching it. And why ask us??
