Drum Drum Revolution
I'm getting quite behind on the all-important business of telling the internet about my life. Last week was Brownie camp, and the two Saturdays before that, I was down in East Sussex for drumming gigs. Last night, several_bees, kevandotorg and I went to an event put on by Abel & Cole called The Big Buzz. It purported to be an evening all about bees, held in Battersea Power Station! On Saturday I went to the Chelsea Flower Show! I’d wanted to go for a while because it is such a nice, calming thing to watch on television, and because I like gardening with flowers. Mass Observation Diary
I wrote a diary for the Mass Observation Archive because mockduck said so, and because I like reading that kind of thing. I have a lovely book at home where lots of Danish children wrote about a day in their life in 1995 and got all excited about their budgies or the sweets they ate at their after-school club, and some of them went to school by ferry! I had a birthday! Every year I get a bit fretful for a few weeks before my birthday and decide that I will do NOTHING because I don't want to make people feel obliged to pay attention to me.
