It rained like hell again Friday afternoon. The tornado sirens woke me up. Nothing touched down in Denver and I don’t think we got any hail, but lots of rain. No flooding like on Thursday, so that was good.

It’s been violent, and that’s disturbing. Another couple of shootings tonight, one fatal, and summer is just starting.

Don’t guess we’re doing anything special for Dad’s Day. Never did hear from T and hubby never said anything about talking to his sister about Country Buffet. That’s ok. We’ll do our normal Gunther Toody’s and just hang out.

I just finished reading the most amazing book! It’s called The Gargoyle. It’s a first novel by someone named Andrew Davidson and is about the redemptive properties of love. It’s sexy and funny and horrifying, all at once.

Well, we ended up not going to grandson's graduation party. Jess didn’t want to go. He’s really uncomfortable with son's ex and her family. Plus, son hasn’t returned any of his calls or texts in months, so he’s royally pissed.

...You watch a grandkid graduating from high school! First in Jessie’s family since he graduated in 1968! Anyway, we went to DU’s Magness Arena at the Ritchie Center and watched the Eagle Crest graduating class of 2009. Amazing.

Tonight is a grandson's graduation party, and tomorrow afternoon, a granddaughter's graduation BBQ. Busy week.
