Okay, I know I'm not exactly a mean person. But sometimes I'm not a friendly one either. My neighbors are always parking in front of my house, especially this green pickup truck from next door, and I grumble about it. I'm not a big believer in coincidence. My personal philosophy contends that the harder I work, the luckier I get. Well, there was a lot of complaining Friday when we had our payroll delivered. I'm so excited! I'll be retiring on June 30 after 25 years as bookkeeper in our small school district.
