The ranch was lovely. The plane ride there was horrible.
I have not posted the stories here. One is 4000 words about a soldier who gets his leg amputated at a field hospital after the battle at Gettysburg in the American Civil War. The other is a short short - 300 words - about a Spartan woman whose husband returns from battle. I got to describe his injuries and one scar at the base of his neck, LOL. Can you tell I love soldiers? :)
The way I rationalize your last point is that if I ogle another man, that would just give Will another scar, albeit an emotional one. So I'm good! (and warped)
Did you run today? I went for a speed walk with my dog, since I have a little patellar tendinitis from a HARD hike at the ranch and we live in a sort of hilly area, so I'll have to go easy for a while.
you and soldiers? I never would have guessed! *needs sarcasm icon*
I ran again yesterday, and on my own too *is proud*, but not today. But I'm starting to feel better and ran a little longer yesterday. Won't get to run again until Monday now though as I have the usual manic weekend and I'm solo parenting at present. I get a pretty good workout running thorugh the water when I'm teaching swimming to the learners though.
I understand the sore knee, I lived in a hilly area for ten years and walking the hills, although good for the butt, was not always easy - especially when pregnant and/or pushing a buggy. Take it easy until it gets better.
Oh dear God, I have no idea!! That would disqualify him now, wouldn't it. *ponders* I'll have to look into this more closely. Perhaps he's had shoulder or knee surgery.
So you've a soft spot for tall men as well? 205 is decent. *nods* Which pic was it you wanted? I found some head shots, but maybe you wanted on of him getting ready to serve? Holding his ball up high... Erm, yeah. *giggles* Goodness, those hands... *shakes head to clear it* That link - you can't copy it because they've protected it against copying. Some sites do that (how uncaring for us fans), which of course they've got every right to do, but it isn't any fun. No idea how you can sneak past that code. Some progams will enable you to do so, but I don't remember which ones.
Looking forward to your ranch report! And then your b-day gift. Dangit, I'd completely forgotten. First I crashed, and then Ihaven't remembered. Hmmm... What to do? *gets idea* You'll see. *grins*
Shall we do a simple housewarming, where we all show up at the door with gifts (and dates)? Or shall we get to thinking about something different and "unique"? Either way, we need to have some sort of party for Mary soon. (And KJ's belated birthday.)

Welcome back. I'm glad you had a good break despite the plane ride from hell.

What are we going to do to make Mary's home properly warmed?
A/N-My not so nimble fingers typed 'nusy' for busy and I had to decide whether I'd change it to 'nutsy' or not.
