My life in bullet points:- I am eagerly awaiting an email in regard to volunteering to visit with local seniors. I am more excited about this than I can describe.

Reflections on Marriage
Ellie, talented creative force that she is, recently gave me a mixed CD revolving around a character on a show I've never seen. It's a damn good mix; so good, I've been considering adding the show to my Tivo's list and attempting to catch up. Can I just say, this is surreal? In one window I have CNN.com which I keep reloading, anxiously awaiting the CA Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage. In another window I have my latest emails from The Knot reminding me that I only have 16 months to go until my wedding. I believe Liz would call my current state of mind "cognitive ( Read more... ) -
Things that are making me happy today:
1. When Liz calls Minerva "The Minnie-Taur."
2. Free lunch at work, including nummy veggie BBQ burger, salad, fruit, fizzy water and Skinny Cow.
3. Finding work arounds to accounting dilemmas that satisfy everyone.
4. A wonderful "date night" with my fiancee last night.
5. A free beach towel from work.
6. A writing assignment!
