- Minnie's tumor was absorbed back into the muscle tissue while we were on vacation. We got our dear kitten back on Monday night -- minus a large patch of fur on her back, a small patch on her arm -- all groggy, happy and whole.

Minnie news, etc.
The vet's office called yesterday. It's a tumor of mast cells. It is currently benign, but what we got from the vet's message was that the cells could mutate if they are not removed. After reading this website, I wonder if what they actually meant was it could end up causing Minnie a whole bunch of pain and complications if we leave it alone. I ( Read more... ) -
Wedding Booking Number One
So I sent an email to laughingkat's mom and it is official: we have booked our officiant for the wedding! Kat's mom, Reverend Linda, has always been like a mom to me. She even put up with me when I was a sullen, bratty teenager. :) I am so honored that she is doing the wedding for us! Minnie and Internet Update
We took Miss Minnie back to the vet this weekend. The vets, unfortunately, are stumped at this point. The lump *has* diminished, but it hasn't disappeared completely after a full week of twice-a-day antibiotics. The lump is pretty solid, so they are thinking now that it's not likely to be an abscess, which would mostly be fluid. Also, she had a ( Read more... ) -

- IT still has not replaced my dead Dell with a working one. I'm borrowing the computer that the temp was using before she was let go.
- I feel like utter crap still. Saturday night at aelfsciene's birthday party I suddenly felt very queasy (like I'd accidentally injested Quorn, for those who know that saga). I slept in on Sunday morning, missing yoga, felt ( Read more... )
