That's not true.
You've clearly learned and have become able to identify more about yourself. And if you want any of that to change, it will be easier to do so because you know whatever those things may be.

Cheer up, baby. I think you'll really like their new album :D

I think being a fan of something is admirable - it shows that you have strong feelings of love and devotion to the people and things you care about. Reading news about them and stuff isn't stalkerish - hopping a plane to S. Korea and sneaking into their houses at night is.
As for the fandom drama, there will always be petty people like that. Just don't become one of them.

Bottom line: Liking DBSK isn't mindless hedonism.

(And yesh, you will like their new album :D)

My dad brought it back from Korea along with a CD by F. T. Island.

I hope that whatever you decide to do brings you joy. *hug!*

Hey I'm not sure I see eye to eye with you, but I'm also not sure that I've ever liked DBSK as much as you apparently did... but in my opinion, it's okay to like them. It's true that the fandom can get ridiculous and overwhelming, but it's also true that you can step away and still be involved, you know? I ignore the drama and just enjoy DBSK for the music they make, the magazines they do, and the shows they're on.
The news on them can be over the top, but it's like that for any sort of celebrity. It might be 'stalkerish' but when you're a celebrity, there's a certain extent of that that's normal... I don't want to come off as mean or anything (eek! >o<) because I just want to say that I think it's okay! It's okay to like them or not like them, it's your choice ( ... )
