I am so glad that I will never have to be in middle school again - hopefully never as a student - and never as a teacher. It is starting to become good soup weather here in Seattle, soup weather also makes it hard to do homework - especially if you're comfortably situated on your couch with lots of long readings ahead. today I was mad at school, and at my professors, and at my workload and at the UW. I was ready to quit but I'm not that easily deterred. I guess the Jesuits really set me up nicely and I could never complain about that. Welcome to public school - now I'll just be getting back to my homework.

So, I've decided that thus far graduate school is all about reading, and more reading and after that some reading for dessert. I understand that there is so much information our professors want to impart on us, but could it wait until next week? Or next class?
