Daft hamster
I was rearranging cages a bit today to make things a bit more interesting for the hamsters. I put Patrick's food bowl into a wicker basket which is maybe 6" tall, if that. He has a log he can crawl through and I put that next to the basket. I also put a ladder going up the other side of the basket.

Lifeblog post
Just noticed lj can interact with nokia lifeblog, so making a very uninteresting test post. Nice to be able to post from mobile, but not sure how much I'll use it without friends lock... -
Oh, and ...
I had to separate Steve and Jeff, so I'm onto three cages now. Steve and Jeff had a major barney on Wednesday night and I had to physically pull them apart. Steve spent the night in a box, and I got him a new cage after work yesterday. So much for sociable.

Built the hamsters an extension
Thursday night and last night the hamsters were fighting, in a not-playing kind of way. I don't really want to have to separate them into a pair and one on its own. Watched Daphne du Maurier dramatisation last night. Was really good. Made me smile. Also watched last week's Casualty, which I had videoed coz I was round at Dominique's, and the end of Eurovision.
