The Flower Part (aka '88 Toyota Corolla) needs a new clutch. The mechanic just called and said that they cannot find the rubber transmission mounts in the States. It will take 2 weeks for the parts to be shipped from Japan. This makes me very pleased. My 17 year old car challenges the global market 24 hour supply chain. Yay!

Spent an half hour last night listening to the 5th Precinct Commander of the MPD tell the Whittier Community Issues Board that one of the goals for the Department this spring is to crack down on truancy.
