Surely it's not just at my school that people have favourite practice rooms? Like, I can identify any bassoon player by a combination of their sound and in what area of the hallway/what specific room they are in, and most of the horn players as well. I play the clarinet.  For some reason,  whenever I try practicing on a morning in during the weekend, especially if I start with long tones, I always get a headache and start seeing stars.   It's really bothering me because I normally only have weekday evenings and weekend mornings to practice and I need to use the time efficiently.

New to this comm. I'm going back to school after dropping out for the past two years. I have been studying my old music theory books, but I am in need of assistance.
