Long overdue to update this thing. Sorry! I’m typing this up at home so I can’t remember when my last entry was, and as a result, I can’t remember specifically what has happened since that entry. The news out here is saturated with talk of the massive typhoon damage in Osaka. It's pretty crazy. There have been something like 21 typhoons this year, 9 of which have actually landed in Japan (they don't have to actually land to cause massive damage -- like most kinds of major storm, a typhoon a ways off over the ocean will still be felt here ( Read more... )
