Got some work done on the writing today. Not as much as I'd hoped, but still. A couple more characters made their way in. I sort of finalized what Faith's new job is going to be. I'm pretty happy overall. I'm trying a new approach to writing this time, focusing on one fic and planning out what I want to happen in advance, before typing anything. It ( Read more... ) -

TGIF rambles
Working is hard! Why can't people just give me money, eh? Dammit! I definitely think I'm going to keep this writing thing up. It really helps to get through the day. It's sad how fanfic is easier to play with, though. A weird mental hang up, I guess. There's just less at stake (no pun intended).

Tempers fuggit
A month and a half into my gig as a telemarketer and I still hate it. Cold calling people just makes me squirm. Gotta do it if I want my diploma, however, so I just grin and bear it. Only seven and a half more months left to go! Yay! -

It's strange to think about what to post, sometimes. There's a lot you have to edit out of your life. Things that concern other people who don't necessarily want to read about themselves online. Things that could give too much information about yourself away, like your mother's maiden name, the name of the family dog or your pin code, f'rinstance. ( Read more... )
