Several people have contacted me about my dad's status, so I figured I would post an update.

For those of you keep tabs on my dad, he is home now. The Dr's were able to get his breathing stabilized and his blood oxygen closer to normal. He's on an oxygen tank now, but at least he's in his own recliner at home instead of the hospital bed. He has an appointment with a specialist in Charlotte on the 6th to have a biopsy done and discuss his ( Read more... )

As I told seeker2, I think I'll be able to handle my dad's death, but this waiting and uncertainty is driving me up the freaking wall.

It's funny how family pops up out of nowhere at times. We've had contact with people this week we haven't spoken to in 15 years. And most of it has been good.

Well, my dad went back into ICU Saturday. He was dizzy, blind, couldn't breath, and his chest hurt. Sounds like me when I get off a ride at the State Fair.

I just wanted to take a moment and send out a general "thank you" to all the people who have contacted me over the past week. I didn't know I had so many readers lurking out there.
