My dad and I have had a love/hate relationship for a long time. He's my dad, and for that reason alone I love him and try to show him respect. It's the way I was raised. Well, the Dr. warned me that my initial reaction to the Zoloft would be increased anxiety and GI problems. She wasn't kidding. I couldn't get my head to quiet down last night. I was restless. This morning I kept bumping into the wall and door jams trying to get ready for work. I think that's more from the lack of sleep, though. I just can't focus. ( Read more... )

Well, the psychiatrist pretty much concluded the same thing as my psychologist: depression and anxiety related to post traumatic stress disorder. So I am now on Zoloft with Wellbutrin as a potential in the near future.

May appointment with the psychiatrist was scheduled for April 23 (about 3 weeks away), so I called up her office to see if they have a call list for openings, and they do. While I was on the phone, she put me on hold to take another call. Turns out that "other call" was a cancellation. I now have an appointment for tomorrow at 3pm. Odd how things ( Read more... )
