Thanks to alicia_h I've just been watching a great documentary called "Pop Britannia," all about the British pop industry. Part two is about managers and producers and includes a fair helping of Brian, setting him in the context of the other people who worked in the industry at this time. The cemetery is located on Long Lane, a busy road in the middle of a very uninspiring industrial park. I keep coming across these "time traveller Paul" fanfics where Paul mysteriously gets thrown back to the 60s and makes it his mission in life to stop John from being assassinated.
