Since it became public knowledge at my current company today, I figure it's ok to talk about publicly as well.

I just pieced together that I haven't been sick since I started climbing about a year and a half ago. I'm not just talking about avoiding the major stuff that keeps you home from work, but the "have a bad day / weekend" colds too. Not a bad record, and still counting ( Read more... ) -

So I work up this morning, and inexplicably, several things didn't work that were fine last night:- The wireless wasn't working, and trying to reconnect simply failed, despite the router doing just fine.
- The wireless USB keyboard for my desktop didn't work, though it functioned perfectly when hooked up to my laptop.

Two things I love..
I finally got around to playing a couple games of Go against the rank bots on KGS. Right now I'm clocking in at 17k, but I'm pretty sure I could get up to 16k with a decent game or two. I should play online some more to get a little more experience with full games ( Read more... ) -
I Hate Fasting... or... A Downside To A High Metabolism
I have a doctor's appointment in the morning, just a regular checkup (for the first time in 2-2.5 years). I expect it to go swimmingly, though they told me I need to fast for 12 hours leading up to the appointment.
