I haven't been updating as much as I should but I blame it on school. University provides me with education, food and a social life but it also eats up all my time, especially now that exams are just around the corner. A very secular Easter
Hey kids. Sorry for the no-blogging. Life tends to be hectic in March and April.
So, today I went to church with my family, because it is Easter, and my secular ways take second place to tradition. Even though I don't follow the doctrine, or believe most of the tenets, I find the Orthodox liturgy peaceful. Perhaps it's the singing, or the serenity ( Read more... ) -
Earth Day: A Live-Blog
My housemates and I are celebrating Earth Hour. All the lights are off, and we're sitting in the dark, our laptops casting a blue glow.

Today was a fun day. Yes, it was so fine that it deserves its own unique font colour.
Why was it so good? Eh, just a bunch of little things that added up to awesomeness.

School and other miscellanies
School is being difficult this term. We have one delightful professor of organic chemistry who insists that a class average of 50% is perfectly acceptable, even though it implies that half his students are not passing. This is unfortunate, and does not bode well for my chances of being accepted into graduate school.
