I'm quite pleased with how this one I took at the Cape of Good Hope came out.  I had to take it pretty quickly as they didn't seem to happy with me taking invading their privacy!

Yesterday we lost the flat.  We're all really annoyed, but the hunt will have to continue...

Today we signed contracts, and authorised deposits and first months rent to be withdrawn from our respective accounts.  We still have to all sign one contract (!) and set up a standing order.  But we've set up our first payments, so we should be in this weekend.  Unfortunately Luke is away this weekend, I’m not sure whether Chris is going to move ( Read more... )

Well things are moving well on the flat.  I've got employment and landlord references done, and have the funds ready to pay my combination of deposit, rent and fees which will punsih my bank balance.  We just need to fill in tenancy forms/sign contract and transfer the money and we're in!  Hopefully no one will beat us to it ( Read more... )

Bob Dylan recorded a series of TV shows in the US, they're now being broadcast on the beeb.  The first show can be streamed from the bbc 6 music website, which has loads of other great music.  It's sounds that haven't crossed the airwaves for decades, it's Bob Dylan playing his favourite songs, it's Bob Dylan!
