So Nicole was gone for work for over 3 weeks to SoCal from around July 2nd to 23rd. We survived but kept up on only the basic household chores and not much of landscaping stuff. the house is mostly done (except the master bath which may be unsalvageable regarding shower)

The new flooring is installed upstairs and the upstairs is all painted (except the bathrooms and maybe a closet or two). Here is a picture of the master bedroom with some flooring visible.

So Karin & Tom made plans to visit us months back when we were planning on closing earlier on the house. Their misfortune to visit while we were closing amidst the chaos. We had a nice stay and mostly hung out, talking and such (in between driving around asking each other "what would you like to do? or "What would you like to eat ( Read more... )

but his wife convinced him to sell 10 acres and then he later split off 5 more acres near the end of his time there to sell despite some type of legal restrictions on what could be built there.
