I was looking at my profile pic on this blog, wondering why I didn't change it. I think it's because that girl in the pic is how I still picture myself in my head. Maybe a little (A LOT) more cynical and disillusioned, more pessimistic and jaded, but also more real and confident and content.

Great. So, I hurt myself again.
I swear I didn't mean to. I went outside to collect the food delivery. I had to get it; no one else was home. Mom was at work and dad had a dentist appointment. So I tried to pick up this box that was way heavier than it looked. And I promptly collapsed to the ground as if I were a puppet whose strings were cut. Pandemic Project
So, I guess I didn't write in here for all of 2019, but that's ok, I filled in my thoughts-book with the basic outline of what happened, yada yada. So. Unable to sleep once again. Was thinking about autism, going off a tangent from a Facebook post I saw by a fellow mommy, a good friend of mine from college, whose son is autistic. So, life is going good. Today is Memorial Day and I took the kids to see the parade. We are going to the Cranbury parade in about half an hour. Petitioning again this year. My debt to my dad is nearly paid off and petitioning will help me reduce it further. I believe I can completely pay it off this summer and then I can focus on saving money ( Read more... ) -

Awake since 4:30 AM - curse my bladder
I'm awake at this godforsaken hour because of my pregnant bladder. I woke up at 4:30 AM to go pee and due to extreme hunger was not able to fall back asleep. So I am amusing myself online. I have good news! I saw the ob-gyn yesterday and the baby is BIG! Either it's big for its age, or, as the doctor thinks is more likely, I'm further along than I ( Read more... )
