Tired of Winter, and it's only November!
I'm sick of it and it's barely started. Roping practice ended a month ago, so there's not much fun around here any more. My Tuesdays and Thursdays seem so empty. I've been riding the horses most days, with hunting season coming in fast it won't be safe, even at home. I happen to live in redneck country, there's bullet holes in my hay feeder ( Read more... ) -

Fencing
Just wanted to take a moment to discuss horse fencing.
I'm a huge snob when it comes to horse fencing. I want properly set poles, corners, and a nice clean fence line. I really get annoyed at cheap do it yourself posts and corners. Your animals need to be kept within the fence without injury, this isn't the place to slack off.
