i'm so happy to hear things are going well with you over there, and that you are doing a kickass job.
as for meeting likeminded people, just keep putting yourself out there in the places that interest you (coffeehouses? bookstores?), and someone interesting will surely pop up at some point. are there any sustainability groups that you could visit/volunteer for/join?
hang in there. you're already over a huge hump. you can take the next one.
