Well, I spoke with the office manager today and it turns out that if the person that I'm covering maternity leave returns fulltime there will be no job offered me (although that could change). Well, it took a couple of months but we finally got to bring our new cat home on Thursday evening. I was able to be home yesterday to facilitate the whole adjustment and separate the new guy and Buffy if necessary. Well, here I am, staying at home instead of heading to Gethyn's gig in Toronto. I just can't see going through a 9 hour day at work on 4 hours sleep. Yeah, the drama of the band continues...I can't wait until this whole thing has sort of settled into a well-oiled machine. It will happen. It'll just take some time. Until then, this will be front and center in my life along with balancing everything else.
