DAY 41
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is spent with a girl named Yomi, who sets Okita on edge. Jaime Reyes comes in later to ease the tension and draw Yomi's gaze off Okita.
SECOND SHIFT
Okita heads to the Courtyard and speaks with Homura about the previous night, telling him it's not his fault. They also discuss Hijikata and Takasugi, people who are of great significance to Okita and his current mental state.
LUNCH
He meets a traveler named Kino and helps Kino understand the Institute a little better
FOURTH SHIFT
Showers with Hijikata Toshirou go well up until Okita introduces himself, but after initial "wtf no gtfo" their conversation ends on a rather odd high note.
DINNER
Dinner with Guy where he somewhat scolds Okita for being a dork and refusing healing.

NIGHTSHIFT
  • Stuck in his room because Homura ordered him to remain there, Okita hears voices outside and sticks his head out in time to see Yuffie and Yukari go by. He tosses a paper ball at them, then ducks back inside to wait for his real visitor of the evening.
  • Ayumu arrives shortly afterward and they discuss the Ikedaya, their futures, and then Okita decides to be a dumbass and head out for the night.
  • And off they go because Okita is determined to reach the upstairs because there is something he wants. And so it involves a lot of moving. D| I hate moving tags.
  • In the upstairs hall, they come upon Robin helping Lelouch (Okita has seen him around and noted his description on the bulletin) and what Okita assumes to be his friend. He and Ayumu split in order to reach the room Okita wants.
  • They reach the Patient Possessions area, and start investigating boxes. Luckily, Okita finds his just as the night comes to a rather bloody end.



DAY 40
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Talking with Yuffie again about what happens to people when they disappear.
RECREATIONAL FIELD
Speaking with Honey in the Rec Field leads to playing and a promise to tell Okita about the future later.
LUNCH
Talking with Homura and Peter about Sylar and possibly joining the History Club to help. Peter leaves and then Homura discusses Nataku with Okita.
FOURTH SHIFT
Talking with Jaime Reyes leads to Okita's disease acting up and the Scarab figuring it out. Okita makes Jaime promise to keep his mouth shut about it, and then they discuss the Club system.
DINNER
Dinner with Guy who is in a good mood following his talk with Anise and Luke.

DAY 39
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Breakfast with Heiji: they spend it discussing how to counteract Mello and Renamon as they attempt to undermine the clubs.
SUN ROOM
Yuffie and Okita finally meet and talk over kittens and origami. Yuffie awards Okita with a nickname "Orangello" and Okita quietly gives her the name "Bubbles" in his head.
LUNCH
But things aren't all that great because Okita realizes that Sanosuke Sagara is gone and Himura Kenshin is in a bad place.
FOURTH SHIFT
Homura and Heiji meet Hijikata Toshirou and Okita is there to watch. However, Sai shows up with his own problems and those take precedence over the alternate Hijikata.

A short dinner with Guy

DAY 38
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
He speaks with Kaito about the appearance of Shinichi Kudou, one of the people most determined to catch him as the Kaito Kid. Okita agrees to help Kaito avoid detection
SECOND SHIFT
Went unposted (sleeping in the Sun Room)
LUNCH
Lunch with Arlene, talking with the Bride over Mexican food which continues to be an odd thing for Okita to deal with. He promises to keep an eye out for Arlene's daughter.
FOURTH SHIFT
Playing games with Homura leads to one uncomfortable question being answered and Guy's sword being pushed toward the top of the priority list.
DINNER
Dinner with Guy as always♥ Okita informs him that his sword order has been moved up.

NIGHTSHIFT
  • The night starts and Okita is going to see Homura, bringing Ayumu in tow
  • He meets her in the hall and discusses how they will get her to Homura's room unseen since Kenshin is now just down the hall
  • Okita waits before he follows Ayumu to Homura's room
  • They all meet up and Ayumu is now employed by the History Club. Okita gets his file from Homura and then the men take off to go see the file room to keep Mello from getting his hands on Ayumu's file
  • They go off to find the files and some moving is involved
  • In the Entry Room they see that Mello's group is engaged in battle with an SC patient and they split ways to get what they need.
  • He gets the files he needs and one extra to hide who had gone through the cabinents
  • He goes back to wait for Homura and then they leave
  • Time to move on back to where they came from - Homura asks Okita to look through his file for mention of the sleep studies
  • They arrive at M13 and Ayumu is there, but she's apparently left and come back. They look over the files and notice that his file is tied to Ayumu's file; as well as a photograph of him, her and Susumu. The sleep studies are also mentioned vaguely. Okita orders Ayumu to run in case her cover is ever blown because he doesn't want to be the one responsible for her death.



DAY 37
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Okita meets someone unexpected at breakfast - Ayumu Yamazaki, the ninja who should not be alive anymore. She is under the alias Sen and is looking for answers and orders, which Okita readily gives to her, under a guise of sending her elsewhere for help.
SHOWERS
Okita joins Homura in the showers like usual - where they talk about their plans for invading the SC Final Prep Area again.
LUNCH
Okita finally meets Miku Hinasaki, his haiku friend from the bulletin and learns that she not only knows of him, but has read books about him and the Shinsengumi. Okita is more than just a little interested in speaking with her again.
FOURTH SHIFT
A day for new meetings: Okita meets Claude, Guy's friend. Okita shows him how to fold a paper crane and they talk about their relationships with Guy.
DINNER
And dinner with said roommate where they discuss poetry, Okita helps Guy get his weapon out from under the bed, and they start to repair their relationship from when Okita went a little crazy.

DAY 36
DAYSHIFT
CHAPEL
Afraid of breaking, Okita takes some time to try and forget last night by playing with Badou. They end up becoming somewhat friends and drawing a fireworks scene on each others' hands. Okita will be looking for cigarettes for him while Badou looks for sweets in return.
BRUNCH
Eating the bare minimum because he has to
THIRD SHIFT
A reunion with Kadaj, has them playing card games and talking about poetry. Okita composes a poem for Kadaj on the fly
VISITORS
Michael Sugiyama comes to visit and it breaks Okita's heart to see him. Knowing he can't walk away and thinking he can't bear the thoughts going on in his head, Okita gets sedated and dragged off
DINNER
Dinner with Guy seems a bit strained, what with Okita being drugged and Guy having been attacked last night by a previous enemy (Sync)

NIGHTSHIFT
  • Beginning of the night, Okita has an appointment to keep and moves to Homura's room to do so.
  • He makes it to M13 where Homura is waiting to reprimand him for his previous night's transgression in harming Himura and Sanosuke. Okita finds out that Homura knows of his disease since Himura told him and they fight over Okita's renewed desire to kill the rurouni. After giving him a beatdown, Homura then suggests they go out and search for the location of their acquired key.
  • They move upstairs where they choose a random direction to begin their search.
  • Ironically, it is the right choice and the key leads them into an as-of-yet unexplored area.
  • Decontamination Room 1 opens and offers nothing of particular interest at first - but a second door proves promising.
  • Special Counseling Final Preparation is the second room, and while this room offers weapons in the corner, it is also heavily guarded and Homura and Okita are forced to retreat as two orderlies charge at them.
  • The orderlies follow into the Decontamination Room, meaning that the duo must further retreat to find safety.
  • Back in the hallway, the orderlies finally give up their pursuit and Okita and Homura realize they need reinforcements. To that end, they go to search for Kenren and MOMO.
  • They begin looking, but the night ends before they can get very far.



DAY 35
DAYSHIFT [DOYLETON]
Okita meets Sai and they talk about drawing - Sai's talent impresses Okita greatly
Okita stays in Magus Park with Kenren, and he realizes that Hijikata is missing. He also asks that Kenren stop him in case Homura can't

DINNER
He warns Guy about what to do in case he goes off the deep end, and they decide to split up like usual for the night

DAY 34
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Still reeling from last night, Okita meets up with Kenshin who tells him he will die of tuberculosis
SECOND SHIFT
Spent quiet due to player hiatus
LUNCH
Fooding with Kaito where the Phantom Thief has to reveal his identity. Okita resolves to stand between Kaito and Heiji should anything happen for the good of the group.
FOURTH SHIFT
Showers with Homura involve telling the demi-god about who he was
DINNER
Dinner with Guy and discussing what happened last night

NIGHTSHIFT
  • Hijikata and Guy meet and then Hijikata and Okita have a quiet evening together for a bit; or as much as Okita will allow Hijikata. He ends up playing around in his wheelchair to get a rise out of him. They decide to go see MOMO to get her to heal them for the next night.
  • And they start moving
  • And moving
  • More of the same
  • Okita can't go very far with his injuries and they stop to rest for a moment. He tells Hijikata about town and their night ends - the final time Okita sees Hijikata within Landel's

Dinner with Guy is pleasant, up until the nurses come

BREAKFAST
Breakfast with Sano leads to Okita not being told anything and being grumpy because of it. Later Kenshin agrees to tell Okita the truth, so he's in a better mood.
SECOND SHIFT
Time with Hijikata makes Okita happy

BREAKFAST
Breakfast with Homura turns into a fight with Sanzo when the priest shows up to kick the war god's ass for what he did the previous night. Okita escapes sedation for once, only to turn around and bitchslap Homura for hurting Heiji. Hijikata shows up with a bandaged up arm/shoulder and the shift ends.
SECOND SHIFT
Time to punch Heiji in the head for provoking Homura with disrespect. Okita's a busy bee trying to keep the ranks from destroying each other. It's decided that Okita and Hijikata assume the management of the puppies.
LUNCH
Lunch involves checking in with Kadaj after the poor boy has figured out that Okita is the one behind the haiku posts. The two psychos have happy bonding time.
FOURTH SHIFT
He uh...sleeps or something. XD I went on hiatus for this period.
DINNER
And still a hiatus because I suck.

DAY 30
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Repairing things with Heiji goes well, and it is decided that Heiji and Kuroba will work under Okita and Hijikata's command only. Hijikata comes by as the riot breaks out and they get Heiji toward the door before emergency protocol is enforced and everyone is taken back to their rooms
RIOT LOCKDOWN
Spends the shift asleep in his room
THIRD SHIFT
Shower time finally, leads to a meeting with Peter Petrelli and discovery that language laws have changed
FOURTH SHIFT
Sun Room time is spent pissing Hijikata off by sending a poem airplane at him while he talks with Kenshin. Sano later joins and then Okita flees.
He runs into Kaito, gets tackled and pwned by Hijikata, Hijikata gets sedated and finally Kaito and Okita get to patch things up.
DINNER
Dinner in the Cafeteria means Okita gets to recruit Edgeworth and Junior for the History Club

NIGHTSHIFT



DAY 29
DAYSHIFT
CHAPEL
Chapel time with Homura leads to discussion of the people they both care about and turns into time with Fai
Time with Fai tells Okita that the man is hiding something
BRUNCH
Brunch with Heiji leads to recruitment into the History Club and a little bit of dayshift time with Guy wherein Guy discovers Okita's use of fake names
THIRD SHIFT
Flirting with Captain Jack is always a good way to pass an afternoon
FOURTH SHIFT
Another Sun Room shift is spent first with Kenshin who was hiding behind a couch to escape visitor shift. Sano appears and Kenshin is dragged off to see Tomoe, leaving Sano and Okita alone to talk about things. Sano decides Okita must be fake, but then Sano mentions something about how Okita is dead before ten years is up and shift ends.
DINNER
Dinner with Guy is pleasant as always, but sadly too brief before the night descends

NIGHTSHIFT
  • Reunions are unexpected, but nevertheless bring joy. Hijikata arrives at the Institute again and after a brief scuffle to determine his identity, Okita feels better and the boys show up to go on their trip for the night
  • Time for some moving and more and more with a brief pause to explain giant bugs
  • M13 is the destination for awhile, where Homura meets the others and they are given their assignment for the night - Okita acts as lead as they go to raid the upstairs autopsy rooms
  • Moving around, Okita admits to the former deal made to not kill Kenshin without cause and they keep going
  • Tagging moving threads (this one has conversation wooo) makes me want to die D:
  • They reach the morgue and as they're looking around, Okita gets phantasmed and Homura sets things on fire to create a distraction to get them all out
  • Phantasm'd Okita in the Autopsy Rooms with the rest, he's rather out of it and not all that great with the boys. They puppies get pissed and take off and Homura goes to retrieve them, leaving Hijikata and Okita alone to wait out the end of the night since Okita cannot do much other than sit. The night drags on, eventually the phantasm's kiss lifts, they share a few laughs at Hijikata's expense and the night ends.



DAY 28
DOYLETON FIELD TRIP

NIGHTSHIFT
  • The shit hits the fan and the shift starts when they're all trapped in buses. The History Club moves out with Okita at the lead because he wants a freaking weapon before bolting for it. He would have left when Allen ripped a hole in the bus, but he's pissed and wants to kill shit.
  • After Okita pulls the nurse's head off, the Battousai appears, but Okita and Kenren split for the Institute.
  • They get inside, but Kenren notices that Hakkai is missing. He and Okita decide to arm Okita first and then go meet Homura at M13.
  • There's a lot of moving around
  • And then they arrive at M63 where Okita finds his new threads and a renewed sense of wanting to kill shit while looking stylish
  • There's a lot of moving again
  • And they finally join Homura and Kenshin in M13. Homura and Kenren go off to find an empty room where Kyouya used to be while Okita and Kenshin get a moment alone. The gods return and strike a plan for the evening.
  • Okita is given a pillowcase and a new flashlight and told to gather weapons in the autopsy rooms. He agrees and moves quickly to the second floor.
  • Where he runs into a leftover that looks eerily similar to Ayumu, but isn't. It beats him around a bit and then he kills it, just as the night ends.



DAY 27
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Okita and Hijikata finally get their one and only real chance to talk alone
SECOND SHIFT
He spends this shift drawing maps in Arts and Crafts
LUNCH
Lunch with Homura and Kenshin, where Okita realizes Hijikata is AWOL
FOURTH SHIFT
Flirting with Captain Jack
DINNER
Dinner with Guy and Okita knows something is terribly wrong with Hijikata

NIGHTSHIFT



DAY 26
Okita misses a complete day of happenings and emerges in the middle of the night. He was awake briefly during the day and was able to post to the bulletin, where he realized Hijikata was also at Landel's, but otherwise he was sedated and gone for the better part of the day.

NIGHTSHIFT
  • M63: Okita finally wakes up
  • Moving
  • Meets with Hijikata and Homura as they move into their hallway after a hard evening of fighting and metal gathering.
  • M13: In Homura's room, Okita learns he's going to get a sword, but only by the auspices of Homura's good graces. Otherwise, he would have to wait until the Battousai got his sword to prevent Okita from killing him. Okita and Hijikata are asked to copy some maps, and he and Homura tease the vice-commander about his poetry, leading to a mini-chase that ends in Homura kissing Hijikata. Okita is not pleased.
  • Metal Gathering: They move off to the M1-40 bathroom to gather metal, run into Snape-Hughes-Scar and ignore each other. Hijikata and Homura get covered in disgusting water as they attempt to pull pipes out. The metal gathering is successful.



DAY 25
DAYSHIFT
BREAKFAST
Talking with Hikaru turns into a threeway convo with Kaoru, too. He promises to teach them kenjutsu later - look to the bulletin for "history lessons"
SECOND SHIFT
In the Recreational Field Okita meets Simon and promises to escort him in exchange for medical support
LUNCH
Spent with Raven, a good meal with good conversation and Okita learns the location of the Pharmacy, writing it in his journal

Okita misses Fourth Shift, goes to his room to rest, but also misses dinner.

NIGHTSHIFT

BULLETIN



☀ DAY 24 || o1
WAKE UPOkita wakes up in the Institute and has a bit of trouble with this whole Western bed situation.
BREAKFASTHis first breakfast finds him eating with Sasuke and Aidou and utterly fascinated by these plastic bendy utensils. Unfortunately, Okita finds out how dangerous Aidou can be, but Sasuke helps explain some things. He also meets Naoe.
SECONDHis first meeting with Homura, who teaches him about the Nightshift and promises him an ally. Later they go to meet the weaponsmith Adelheid and begin to form what will later become the History Club.
LUNCHLunch brings interesting food and an even more interesting lunchmate - Himura Kenshin. Okita tries to stab him with a spork and gets sedated for his troubles.
FOURTHSpent sedated, I believe.
DINNERHe meets his new roommate, Guy Cecil, and they have a bit of a misunderstanding until Guy realizes Okita is actually a man.
★ NIGHT 24
STARTOkita goes out to find Homura and the others, and meets them just before Himura Kenshin appears. Their typical meeting occurs where Okita tries to kill him, this time with a ballpoint pen. Homura manages to stop him and they go inside to heal up and discuss their plans, although Okita is rather unhappy at having to share things with the Choushu hitokiri. They end up moving upstairs where they break into a few places, finally find the bathrooms and start pulling pipes for the metal.

BULLETIN
  • What is Love? - more picspam brought to you by Akthel. Elena explains Landels. Hikaru fanboys him. He teases Hikaru about his brother. Snake tells him about vaccines.
  • Same post - Okita keeps teasing Hikaru, but then Aidou shows up and Okita takes a distinct dislike to him. Still, he wants to keep teasing Aidou so he puts up with it. Otacon tells him about anime. Aidou tells Okita he's FROM an anime.
  • Miku's post about timelines leads to Okita and Javert talking about the past
  • Tamaki's journal - stolen by Renge, he posts about it on the board. Okita has a mind to steal it next.
    This devolves into talk about hosts and prostitutes, and Okita learns about the Bakumatsu from Hikaru. He needs to talk to him later in order to learn more.
  • Usagi's missing Luna - Okita's missing Saizou
  • Haiku with Rangiku
  • Keep an eye out for Himemiya
  • River asks for a bodyguard for Simon, but he doesn't appreciate it when Okita and others respond.
  • Aidou jabs at Okita for being sedated and hilarity ensues
  • Someone else is from Edojidai
  • Otacon tells him the patient possessions room is a big waste of time. Snake is a little disturbed by Okita's levity (Okita's drugged at this point).
  • Okita's time post, Hikaru knows the Ikedaya
  • Allen wonders about time and Okita responds
