Sherlock has to admit that he's learning a lot. He'd never thought that interior decorating could be used as a form of torture before, for instance- but a few days staring at floral wallpaper and cushions that very nearly match each other in colour and print and yet somehow clash has altered his perspective slightly. This is without a doubt one of the stupidest things Sherlock has ever experienced. He's sprawled in an armchair, a book lying open and unread in his lap, a nicotine patch on each arm, staring listlessly at the wall.

This is awful, horrible, stupid, frustrating, damned idiotic, and he won't stand for it. He won't be kept here when there is a warm bed with his name on it (in John's room), a flat with heating and Internet and running water and other necessities.
