Krakow
Molly and I have been feeling like real backpackers for the last couple of days. We went to Lviv in Ukraine for a couple days, went to a museum, drank beer, met locals, generally made nuisances of ourselves, then boarded a train for Krakow. I must admit I like Krakow better. Hallo again! So East Germany. Katja, Thomas, Justus, Greta, their two dogs and I all went hurdling down the Autobahn to Thuring for the weekend. The Autobahn... is horrible. There are no speed limits whatsoever which means that everyone is going about 140-180 km per hour down this highway with nothing to keep them from crashing into each other ( Read more... ) -

Today at lunch we had Champagne because Amanda was leaving and this place is just that cool that they throw a party ono your last day. The Hike
Yesterday Amanda and I went for a hike! We took a baguette and some chocolate and cheese (I know, I know, but it's actually what we eat here, no joke) and headed up the "mountain" that our view faces. I am in wine country! I don't want to go and jinx this by raving about it right away... but I guess I am anyway. This place is so amazing! The countryside is gorgeous, all rolling hills of vineyards and cherry orchards stretching out in every direction and quaint little villages and farms. Pacha
Well last night I got initiated into the crazy world of Ibiza club life. David (a WWOOFer from the next farm over, also from Canada) and I got spiffed up (took showers to get the top layer of farming grime off and put on our dancing shoes) and went down to Eivissa city to party at Pacha, one of the biggest and most well known clubs on the island.
