Well I´m getting used to it here. It would be really beautiful if probably 95% of the stuff were carted away. And though the hosts don´t always get along, they show a lot of love for the children (well... child) and animals in this place. Oh my goodness, this place in Ibiza is crazy. Misleading description just about covers it. It was described on the WWOOF website as a place with lovely gardens, lot´s of animals, daily meditation and a recycling operation. There are a couple small gardens, a lot of really mangy scabby cats and two huge dogs with limps, meditation is out the window ( Read more... )

So I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth, rather I am in the remotest mountains of Extremadura in Spain. In this place I not only have a bed, I have my own room, and even a balcony! Ok, I'm officially an alchoholic. That must be what it was when Molly and I walked 5 kilometres through the dark along windey Irish roads to get to the nearest pub. It was fun though.

I am on my first farm, or rather a piece of land in the hills above Wicklow town. For those of you who are curious, Wicklow is in Wicklow county, on the South East coast right below Dublin.
