I'm studying for my Medical Anthropology final on Tuesday, and one of the topics is organ donation. We had to watch this clip, and I find that I'm fascinated by this topic. After viewing it (it's only 3minutes), what are your thoughts? I'm curious.

Saw my doctor today, the one overseeing my treatment. Nothing new to report there (other than it isn't working, haha), but he informed me that I am on three medications that make me gain weight. I am fine with this, considering my clothes and the scale have already told me as much. What I wasn't sure was helpful was his next comment ( Read more... )

Aside from the fact that I'm certain my treatment is not working, I am rather pleased with the fact that my migraines have decided to give me a break. It's been quite a while (meaning more than two weeks) since I've had a bad one, and the little ones don't rear their ugly heads as often. Happy 55th Anniversary, Dumbo!

Mom still tells horror stories of waiting in line for hours so I could ride Dumbo.  XD

It's only a step in the process, and I'm convinced this won't end until the Supreme Court rules on it, but it's nice to know that there are still judges out there that are willing to stand up for what is right. Prop 8 has been overturned!

Had a fantabulous birthday, going down to San Diego for the night to see the play Avenue Q and to go to the San Diego Zoo. Avenue Q is the funniest, best play I have ever seen, and I highly recommend seeing it if it is anywhere near your vicinity.
