thought I was gonna have to say goodbye to my mom forever yesterday.

there are 5 computers in my office and 8 desks. yes we operate at dinosaur speed but even stranger than having people without computers is our hiring practices. I pick her up from the airport at 2am and on the way to my hosue she says "is this the black neighborhood?" yikes. can I take her back to the airport? if she was uneducated I might feel bad for her, but she's got degrees. and I feel like she asks this type of stupid question then anticipates my answer and makes her own decision anyway ( Read more... )
