Right now I have a craving for red meat, lamb to be exact, that no amount of soy sausage, tofu curry, hummus, cheese or cashew nuts has any effect on. I usually love vegetarian food. :( not tonight though...

Working in pre-school is not good for clothing. I generally come home with something ground or mashed into my clothes; play-dough, yoghurt, glue, paint... something worse occasionally (though you have to go a long way to find a substance more foul than strawberry yoghurt). The terracotta sculpture that I posed for and the artist gave me (pictured in icon), now has a name. Peter tends to name his sculptures after the women who model for him, but I couldn't really come at her being Alison, so I have just been thinking of her as "the terracotta sculpture". After so many year of supreme indifference to sport, what am I doing up at this stupid time on a school night? And why do I care? Fuck.

I had my first driving lesson from a proper instructor today. It would have been fine, if not for the fact that when I turned the key in the ignition, nothing happened. The battery was flat.

I don't think I will sleep unless I return my silver Egyptian ring to the third finger of my right hand, where I have worn it for at least fifteen years.
