The last few poems... -- Последние не вошли в пост... origa August 6 2011, 17:00:52 UTC

full gallop во всю силу галоп
for a moment I let go на мгновенье забываю
of my mind про всё на свете

face to face лицом к лицу
with a soaring eagle с парящим орлом
limitless sky бескрайнее небо

unbound свободное
a horse neigh carried разносится ветром
by the wind конское ржанье

My favorite poem in the Translations of Part Four

rising high
over the river and mountains
my last breath

Good point but I saw it as a spirit. Perhaps not a haiku. I wonder what Sasa thinks? Anyways, I enjoyed it very much!

You are a very perceptive reader, I would say :)

Вот здесь заметил опечатки:

больше сеья
больше всего на свете
мечта мустанга

прямо вверх
прыжок в кустоту -
свобода и любовь

Some of my favorites in this set.
summer breeze …
the working horse turns
into Pegasus

Hana Nestieva, Israel

Very nice!
untethered summer day
the mustang and I
not so different

Darrell Lindsey, USA

!!
slow ascent
horse ranch gets smaller
birds bigger

Charlie Smith, USA

very nice.
rising high
over the river and mountains
my last breath

Sasa Vazic, Serbia

Very interesting. But, if it is the author's "last" breath, who is writing this haiku? (So, maybe just breath, without "last"?)
full gallop
for a moment I let go
of my mind

Annie Juhl, Denmark

An awesome haiku! And one body and mind are let go, that is freedom!

You're welcome! :)

The last 2 I felt don't have a summer kigo (unless if I'm mistaken?), but they are just too wonderfully well-written... I liked them!

Thanks, Origa for this wonderful contest! I always learn from these contests in that there are so many ways to write a haiku/senryu. :)

You are very welcome, Kathy :)

Yes, so many ways... The only requirement is, be true to your own heart.
