He's home now, thank the gods and heavens and whatever else can be thanked. His homecoming was the happiest day of the year, and I would turn into some kind of holiday if it wasn't something we both wanted to forget forever. So I wanted to get involved with something to do with costumes out here, so I helped out at the SF Mime Troupe for a spell. It was lovely; kind of like what I had once thought working on film & TV sets would be like, before I ever set foot on one. There have been several deaths in my extended family over the last few months, including my last remaining grandparent, who passed away last Thursday morning.
