I HATE NEEDLES.

Today I had to do my monthly blood drawing for Accutaine. I had to fast, and that alone put me in a poor mood (I NEED to have breakfast to feel human). - Today I called home and my mom announced that she bought a pair of baby socks full of tiny American flags. For one day in the future when she’ll have a grandkid. - Today I saw a homeless man holding a sign saying: "Father was killed by ninjas. Need money for karaoke lessons." I couldn't help by cracking up in front of him. The guy doesn't have a roof over his head, but still has a great sense of humor.  :-)

The job interview went so well!!! It lasted 2 hours, compared to my 5min previous interview. I don't know if they will offer me the job or not, or if I’m the best candidate, but I certainly made an impression. My efforts to feel confident beforehand paid off - it really worked, and I can’t believe how articulate and on top of my game I was. ( ( Read more... )
