My obsession with the Twilight novels has made me wish I was a better writer. Well, actually, I have always enjoyed writing... I just have never felt creative enough to write fiction. I think I can write a good story, if given characters, world, etc... The part I stumble on is creating the characters and the world.

So, I was shopping Sunday with a good friend, and picked up Twilight. Another friend had been asking me to read it for awhile, because she thought I would like it and wanted to have someone to see the movie with. really needed to go to bed, but didn't know where to get the energy to get off the couch (and stop watching the dumbness on TV this late), do the pre-bed chores (feed the rabbit, let the dog out, etc.) and get all the way up the stairs... And at the top of the stairs, there is more work to do - PJ's to put on, teeth to brush, etc ( Read more... )
