At our first probation talk last week, my team leader said something along the line of "Thanks for being so excited and enthusiastic about the job because the enthusiasm rubs off on others." I don't think this is the kind of result she had in mind.

I have a specific command to tell Darcy when it's okay to accept a treat or toy, so he knows to wait politely while you're holding a treat instead of lunging at your hand, and I discovered today that I could use it to make him hold none-treat-things in his mouth. MWAHAHAHA!

This has been the best birthday I've ever had. Today at work a guy from another team, who I've only spoken to two or three times in the one-and-a-half week I've been at ATO, gave me a gift-wrapped box of chocolate, then my team surprised me with a chocolate mud cake (complete with lit birthday candles) that my cubicle-buddy had brought.
