Those Darned Bees
So yeah. Removed the fluorescent lights. Removed random boards and panels. Opened up the ceiling to the rafters. Skylights now much more effective. Installed some nice soft hanging light fixtures between the rafters for nighttime. Also up there: surround sound speakers. New rug (really ties the room together). Teevee gone. It was interesting going through all the various tests, and now I've finally seen all the Rorschach patterns. Go Speed Racer Go
A couple weekends ago I participated in the Davis/Sacramento Go Tournament and came in first in my division, 3-1. A few months ago I finished fourth in the SF quarterly, but I had a few good games against strong players.
