Yesterday I saw a cycle coming up past my car in the side mirror and I would have sworn it was you. The ponytail in the leather wrapper-thing looked just like yours. I felt like you were waving at me, and it made me smile. Even here in Austin you know where I am.
I'll always think of that moment as you sending a smile.

OK, when I finally found a map of the rampage of the tornadoes in Oklahoma, I found that as I had feared Norman was in the path.

I got hold of Master Michael (Mike A) last night; their house was on what was more or less the hypotenuse of some twister paths, and so did not get hit. This is a great relief.

What a way to start the day! I was on I-35, on schedule to be in the office by 8 for an 8:30 meeting, and someone crashes into the back of my car! Good news -- the next 6 months are locked in. I have a contract with the Texas Employee Retirement Systems to do InfoSec policy and guideline development work. Still prefer to be doing project management, but a job is a job is a job! Starting Monday.
