Day off yesterday
I took the day off yesterday, went to the new grilled cheese restaurant in Olde Mystic Village and satisfied my craving for bacon a little further.
I'm a bad pseudo-vegetarian. And the woman who works there = shitty attitude to the point that I'm not sure I want to pay her for more delicious sandwiches.

Brief update
Dave's parents are home, safe & sound. Yay for people in the house!
Dave's home for spring break and he brought Jordan with him *sweet*. I'm gonna take Wednesday off so we can do St. Pattie's day tomorrow PROPERLY. lol (I'll be DD'ing I bet)

The Graveyard Book
I found myself at the local used book shop today, and by some strange twist of fate they happened to have Neil Gaiman's new "young adult" novel, The Graveyard Book. (They never have recent releases.) It recently won the Newberry Medal. I'm a chapter or two away from being done with it, and I really, really like it. I kinda wanna read it again ( Read more... ) -

Attached was the poem eulogy I wrote for our first guinea pigs when I was 14. I buried them under my favorite crab apple tree in the backyard. That was the prettiest damn tree...

I suggested a change to SmartyPig a while back after getting hit by fees from Bank of America. I had the auto-deductions going from my savings account. The fees came when I had more than 3 deductions that month from savings....the federal limit is 6 withdrawals. Who knew?
